For those of you that don't know, Heath is a collector of ALL things. I kid you not. From CD's, records, DVD's, magazines, and books, to shot glasses, hockey pucks, ticket stubs, and KISS memorabilia....the list can go on and on. TRUST ME.
One thing he collects that cracks me up are pennies. Not just regular old pennies, but those novelty pennies you get at say, Disneyland. The ones where you put a penny in a machine, turn the handle, and out pops a flattened version with some sort of picture on it. He turns all giddy when he sees one of those machines. Like a kid in a candy shop. Or a fan on the first day of football season.
Below is play by play of Heath at one of those penny machines while we were up at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
Notice the excitement in his eyes as he puts .51 cents into the machine:
There he goes spinning the handle....

And out pops a fabulous flattened penny for his collection:

When we got home , he immediately found his passport and added the Palm Springs Aerial penny to his collection:

More than half way there for a completed book!

It's the little things in life that make you happy, right?
